Edgewater Collective Goes Vertical, Developers Authorized for Tax Rebate
Kushner Real Estate Group and PTM Partners have been authorized for negotiations on a tax rebate deal by Miami's Omni Community Redevelopment Agency.
The developers are seeking a rebate of 95% of the available Tax Increment Financing generated by the project. In exchange, Kushner and PTM would restrict rents on 130 units to 60%, 80%, and 100% of Area Median Income.
Edgewater Collective will be comprised of three towers including 1,299 rental units with ultramodern finishes, 18,500 SF of retail space on the ground floor, and a multi-level parking garage. The project will also feature outdoor pools and sun decks, a large-scale co-working space with Zoom rooms, a podcast-recording room, yoga, and fitness studios. 130 of the units will be affordable housing units.
