Excavation Begins at 1889 Atlantic Avenue
General contractor, , has started excavation and drilling work for a 9-story, residential building, set to rise at 1889 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood.
Developed by , the building will contain rental apartments. Plans also call for a cellar level and an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.
Designed by , the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet.
The project site spans square feet and sits on the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Ralph Avenue. The property was previously occupied by a Speedway gas station, which was demolished in order to make room for the new development.
