Excavation Kicks Off at 25-01 Queens Plaza North

Excavation contractor, ECD NY, has started digging the foundation of a 27-story, mixed-use development, set to rise at 25-01 Queens Plaza North, in Long Island City Queens. Approved back in July of last year by the NYC Mayor's Office, the project is being developed by .

The building is set to contain rental apartments. Approximately  of these will be reserved for affordable housing, with the rest of the units listed at market rate.

In addition to residential units, the ground floor of the structure will offer square feet of retail space.

Designed by , with  serving as the general contractor, 25-01 Queens Plaza North will stand feet tall and total square feet. Construction should take approximately 2-3 years, but an estimated date of completion has not been announced yet.
