Exterior Work Nearly Complete for WMATA’s 300 7th Street Project
The Unitized Curtain Wall is nearly complete at 300 7th Street, the upcoming HQ for the WMATA. Designed with the goal of achieving LEED Gold certification, the new Metro HQ site has been stripped to its structural concrete and completely renovated to modern workplace standards, including new commercial amenities on the ground floor to activate the streetscape and benefit the surrounding community. Construction is expected to wrap up in late 2021.
