50 Hudson Yards Update 10/08/21

Facade Mostly Installed for Hudson Yards Office Tower

General contractor, Related Construction LLC has nearly completed the 836,500 sqft curtainwall for 50 Hudson Yards. All that remains is part of the ground floor and a strip up the side of the building where a work elevator still resides. Developed by Related Companies and The Hudson Companies, Oxford Properties Group, and Mitsui Fudosan America, the 58-story tower stands over 1,000 feet tall and contains approximately 2.9 million square feet. Most of the building has already been leased to BlackRock and Facebook, who will occupy 970,000 and 1.2 million square feet respectively.

The structure was designed by Foster + Partners, and ground broke back in 2018. Total construction costs for 50 Hudson are expected to reach roughly $3.94 billion by the time the project finishes next year.
