General contractor, , has finally started installing the glass facade at 450 Eleventh Avenue; a topped-out, 51-story hotel tower, going up in Manhattan's Hudson Yards district.

Developed by , the tower is set to become an Aloft-branded hotel, featuring rooms. If you look at the raw superstructure from some angles, you may notice a certain peculiarity where each of the floors appear to be molded in slightly varying and uneven shapes. Although it looks odd in its current state, this was done in order to sculpt the mounting surfaces for the ripple-style facade.

Designed by , the in-house architectural firm for , the tower stands feet tall and totals square feet. Build costs for the project are expected to reach $368 million upon completion and work is expected to wrap up sometime in 2024.
