Facade Work Wrapping Up for West Chelsea Highrise
With the exception of the ground floor, nearly all of the curtainwall glass and facade materials have now been installed on a 42-story, mixed-use tower, going up at 606 West 30th Street on the border of Manhattan's Hudson Yards and West Chelsea neighborhoods.
Developed and constructed in-house by , the building is set to contain residential units. Plans also call for square feet of retail space, located on the bottom floors.
Designed by , the structure stands feet tall and totals square feet. Construction is being financed through a $170 million loan, issued by Wells Fargo, and work is expected to wrap up sometime in early 2024.
