Final Piece of Land Sold for Searstown Redevelopment for $16M
AIMCO has acquired the third and final portion of land for their planned redevelopment of Searstown in Fort Lauderdale. The 1.38-acre parking lot was sold by RK Associates for $16 million. This transaction follows a June transaction of $64 million for 5.7 acres and a July transaction of $20 million for 1.7 acres.
901 North Federal Highway is a 9-acre site with plans to build a 3 million square foot mixed-use project including 1,500 apartments.
