First Miami Presbyterian Church Signs Agreement to Move Forward with 80-Story Building
On March 2nd a letter was noted with Miami-Dade’s Clerk of Court with terms of agreement signed by First Miami Presbyterian Church. The church is granting the developer permission to build the planned 80-story residential tower at 609 Brickell Ave with the following terms: the developer’s right to acquire the property, the developer’s obligation to construct the project on the property in accordance with the terms of the agreement, and the developer’s obligation to convey the new church improvements to the church after substantial completion.
The structure will be built on the church's back lot where a parking lot and school building currently sit. The main church structure will be preserved.
