Greenpoint Condo Project Set for East River Waterfront
A luxury, 2-tower, residential development is now under construction on the East River waterfront at 1 Huron Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The 13-story project, known as "The Huron", is being developed by and is set to contain high-end condos. Units will be available in studio and one to four-bedroom configurations. Marketing will be done by SERHANT, a trendy Manhattan-based real estate firm, famously launched by "billion-dollar broker", Ryan Serhant.
Designed by , the towers will offer approximately 20,000 square feet of private, outdoor balcony space. Residents will be treated to phenomenal views of the Manhattan skyline in both structures, thanks in part to the distance of separation between them.
The Huron is destined to spoil its occupants with an extensive list of tenant amenities. Spread across 30,000 square feet, it will have a fitness center with a sauna, an indoor saltwater pool boasting waterfront views, a private dining room, a media room, a children's area, an outdoor playground, multiple co-working spaces, a musician's room, a roof terrace with a BBQ setup, bike storage, on-site parking, and a package room.
Construction is being carried out by general contractor, , and work is well past the foundation stage. The new development replaces a 2-story warehouse building, and the project site encompasses a long, but narrow lot, measuring roughly square feet.
