Ground Broken at Affordable Housing Community in Miami Beach
The groundbreaking ceremony was held at Vista Breeze, the largest affordable housing development to break ground on Miami Beach since the 1970’s. The community for seniors features 119 units divided between two sites and built in two phases. Formally, the project is broken up into two sites where one site is known as “Vista,” a half-acre site, and the other “Breeze,” a three-quarter acre site. The larger phase will offer 70 apartments and 31 parking spots, and the other phase will offer 49 units and 23 parking spots. Vista abuts a municipal golf course to the north and Breeze abuts the Normandy Waterway which connects to Biscayne Bay to the south.
