Kips Bay Commercial Property Sells for $14.8M
A 3-story commercial building located at 429-437 2nd Avenue in Manhattan's Kips Bay neighborhood has just sold. New Empire Corp purchased the property for $14.8 million from The Speiser Organization. The 17,000 sqft building is 3-stories tall and currently contains the Mount Sinai Beth Israel Methadone Clinic. Back in May, while still under The Speiser Organization's ownership, full demolition permits were filed for the building. Now that it's been sold, it's unknown whether or not demolition is still in the cards for the 1925 built structure.
