Map Amendment Filed to Rezone Georgia Ave. Site

A map amendment has been filed to rezone the roughly 27,000-square-foot property located at 7709-7723 Georgia Avenue, NW.  The property is currently improved with local and community-serving retail uses including laundromat, convenience store, and nail salon. The development team proposes to rezone the property from MU-4 to MU-10. The MU-10 zones provide for mixed-use developments that permit a broad range of commercial, institutional, and multiple dwelling unit residential developments with a 6.0 FAR or 7.2 FAR with IZ.
