530 Fifth Avenue Update 09/10/21

Midtown Office Building Trades for $192M

A 26-story office building at 530 Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan has just sold for $192 million. Aurora Capital Associates acquired the 535,000 sqft building from Brookfield Property Partners. The structure was built in 1957, and contains mainly office condos, with retail space on the lower floors. The condos are desirable for a plethora of worker amenities, such as an available community membership, and a wellness studio. The retail portion is perhaps even more desirable because of the property's Fifth Avenue frontage (between 44th and 45th Streets). Just its location alone means that 530 Fifth Avenue boasts some of the most coveted consumer retail space in all of North America. The building has a number of structure setbacks located on floors 10, 11, 12, 16, and 20. Because of this, it offers a variety of different floor sizes ranging from 7,800 to 34,300 sqft. Space is currently available through RXR Realty.
