Nearly 900 Units Approved for West Falls Church Metro Development
The Fairfax County Planning Commission has approved the redevelopment of the West Falls Church Metro station. Plans for the 24-acre site call for over 1 million square feet of mixed-use development with 895 residential units (a mix of multifamily units & townhomes), 110,000 square feet of office space, and 10,000 square feet of retail. The development will also include 2.55 acres of green space spread across a series of parks and civic spaces. Now the proposal will go before the Board of Supervisors for final approval on May 9.
