Ridgefield Logistics Center Update 04/14/23

North Jersey Warehouse Project Coming Together

General contractor, , has entered the home stretch for a major industrial warehouse project, going up at 1098 US-46 in Ridgefield, New Jersey.

At this time, all of the loading dock doors have been installed, and concrete slabs have been poured for the truck bays. The property is still in need of paving, but with plenty of construction equipment still on-site, it makes more sense to save that job for last. Inside the building, mechanical and electrical installation is also still ongoing, as well as interior finishing work.

Developed by , the Class-A facility will be known as the "Ridgefield Logistics Center" and is designed to accommodate large distribution operations. Set to total square feet, the building will feature 325,421 square feet of warehousing space, 65 loading dock doors, 3-drive-in doors, and  square feet of mezzanine office space.

In addition, there will be 56-trailer parking spaces, 40-foot ceiling clearance heights, 3,000 Amp power, ESFR fire sprinkler systems, and 183 employee parking spaces.

Positioned about a mile from the New Jersey Turnpike, and 2 miles from Interstate 80, the Ridgefield Logistics Center will benefit from a prime location, which makes it highly desirable for large-scale shipping and receiving operations. Construction is expected to finish within the next few months, and leasing has already commenced and is being handled by CBRE.
