Permit Pulled for Site Prep for City Hall Plaza Renovation
Shawmut Design & Construction has pulled a permit valued at $1.3M to start setting up fencing and begin site demolition for the City Hall Plaza Renovation. The upcoming renovations will add updated civic spaces to the plaza and new infrastructure will make the Plaza more sustainable and universally accessible. The renovation also includes 3,000 new welcoming spaces for residents to sit, 12,000 square feet of playscapes for children and families, and 11,000 square feet of terraces for pop-up play and interactive public art.
