Building permits have just been filed for a 6-story, mixed-use development at 29-34 30th Avenue in Astoria, Queens. Developed by Orchard Lodging LLC, the building would contain rental apartments and square feet of commercial space. This would likely come in the form of ground-floor retail. Plans also call for a cellar level. Designed by HCN Design, the structure would stand feet tall and total square feet. No demolition will be required as the project involves constructing a 5-story addition onto an existing single-story building.
