Pile Operations Ongoing for WMATA Northern Bus Garage
The Clark Foundations team is completing pile operations for support of excavation for the WMATA's Northern Bus Garage Reconstruction project. The project includes the transformation of an existing bus maintenance garage into a 10-ton, steel-frame facility that supports a fully zero-emission bus fleet. By late September, the team will have installed 13 pile brackets, 237 tiebacks, 27,000 square feet of lagging, and 40 tons of external bracing.
