Renderings Released for 52-Story Tower Project in Williamsburg
Updated renderings have been revealed for a large, dual-tower, residential project, going up at 346 Kent Avenue in Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood.
Constituting "Site D" of the Domino Sugar waterfront master plan, the project is being both developed and constructed by . Connected at the base via a 7-story podium, the structure consists of a shorter, 39-story (435-foot tall) north tower, and a taller, 52-story (535-foot tall) south tower.
The development will feature apartment units, and of ground-floor retail space. Tenant amenities are to include a landscaped, outdoor terrace, with seating areas and a swimming pool.
Designed by , 346 Kent Avenue will total square feet altogether. Construction is currently in the superstructure formation stage, and curtainwall installation is also underway. Late last year, J.P. Morgan Chase supplied a $364 million loan for the project, which will fund all construction and project-related costs from start to finish. An anticipated date of completion is not yet clear, but a finish date sometime towards the end of 2024 seems likely.
