Renovations to NU's 716 Columbus Get the Green Light
Northeastern University has won approval for interior renovations to portions of the Columbus Place and Alumni Center building located at 716 Columbus Avenue. Northeastern plans to renovate portions of the basement, first, second, fourth, and fifth floors of the existing seven-story building, for a total of approximately 34,000 sf of renovation and approximately 15,000 sf of area to receive new carpet and paint. The renovations will include upgrades to the mail center to accommodate broader receiving and delivery needs and aesthetic upgrades to existing administrative office space to accommodate department growth and hybrid work models.
