Rezoning Application Filed for Redevelopment of Westshore Plaza

 

 

Ohio-based developer and property manager Washington Prime Group has filed a rezoning application with the City of Tampa for the redevelopment of shopping mall Westshore Plaza. The redevelopment of Westshore Plaza is a reimagination of a significant portion of the property, focused on adding new and exciting retail, dining and entertainment options, upscale residential units, and more. A true mixed-use redevelopment plan.  Westshore Plaza offers 1,093,850 square feet of space. Retail tenants include Macy’s, AMC Movie Theater, JC Penney, Footlocker, Old Navy. Restaurants include Maggiano’s Little Italy, Besito Mexican, PF Chang's China Bistro. Located in the Westshore Business District, just west of downtown Tampa, Westshore Plaza is located off Interstate 275. The district offers more than 4,000 businesses; 102,000 employees; over 12 million square feet of office space; and 8,200 rooms in 42 hotels, one of the largest hotel markets in the country.
