Rezoning Proposed for Senior Living in Jamaica
Private entity, BG Sutphin LLC, is seeking zoning map and text amendments for 97-04 Sutphin Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens. The purpose of the proposal is to facilitate a new, 177-unit affordable housing building for seniors. The development would also include roughly 16,500 sqft. of community facility space. Currently, the proposal is in the early stages of the application process, and an environmental assessment for the project is ongoing.
