Rhode Island Commerce to Consider $30M Additional Construction Funding for Tidewater Landing
Rhode Island Commerce Corporation is reviewing plans to inject an additional $30,000,000 into phase 1 of development for Tidewater Landing, currently in development in Pawtucket. The financial aid would consist of a $20 million grant from the State of Rhode Island as well as a $10,000,000 tax increment financing district around the proposed Tidewater soccer stadium.
The 25-acre project will feature 5 mixed-use buildings containing 60,000 SF of commercial space, 56,750 SF of retail and restaurant space, and 435 residential units as well a 200-key hotel.
