Seven Corners Fire Station Breaks Ground
The Bailey's Crossroads Fire Station will have a new look soon, as they have broken ground on their new facility. Replacing a one-story, 8,518 square-foot facility at 2949 Sleepy Hollow Road, with a 13,513 square foot, two story structure with 3 bays, in an effort to modernize and expand its service. The new facility will add more locker room space for both genders as well as more bunk-rooms, according to the department. While the locker rooms will be separated, the bunk rooms, will be gender neutral. Construction is slated to begin in the Spring of 2022, with occupancy slated for mid-2024.
