570 Fulton Street Update 07/08/21

Stop Work Order Rescinded at Brooklyn High-Rise Site

Work on 570 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn has been more or less stagnant for the last year or so. The building set to be demolished on the site of a future 550-foot tall, Slate Property Group development, has been wrapped in construction netting for some time now. A partial stop-work order issued in July of last year and a full stop-work order issued in March have both been lifted, indicating that demolition may finally get underway again soon.

The tower set to replace the existing structure has been designed by Hill West Architects and will stand 40-stories tall. It will be a mixed-use building with 139 residential units, and 89,000 square feet of office space. It will also contain 12,400 square feet of ground-floor retail.
