Excavation Underway at 570 Fulton Street
Drilling and excavation is well underway at 570 Fulton Street; the site of a 23-story, mixed-use high-rise project, soon to rise in Downtown Brooklyn.
Developed and gc'd in-house by , the building is set to contain rental apartments and square feet of ground-floor retail space. Plans also call for a cellar level, balconies for many of the units, and a communal roof deck with several seating areas.
Designed by , the structure is set to stand feet tall and total square feet altogether. Construction is slated to finish by the winter of 2025.
This project scrapped larger plans made by a prior developer (The Davis Companies), which sought to build a 40-story, 550-foot-tall tower on the property. The Davis Companies sold the lot to Developing NY State LLC in February of 2023, and the entire project team has since changed. The current iteration shares nothing in common with the previous one and is a completely different (and scaled-down) design. Renderings for the original project are depicted below:
