Fenway Apartment Complex Acquired for $28.5 Million The Davis Companies and The Copley Group have acquired The Park Gallery apartments in Boston's Fenway neighborhood for $28.5 million. The property features two adjacent buildings totaling 36,915 square feet and was built in 1910. The 4-story building boasts 55-units made up of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments.  


Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport

Construction Continues for Omni Boston Hotel at The Seaport Construction continues for the Omni Boston Hotel at The Seaport. Framing is rising for one of the towers while facade install is ongoing on the other. The 21-story building will include 746 standard rooms and 278 innovation rooms. Hotel guests will have access to meeting and event space, a spa,  a fitness center, and 400 off-site parking spaces. With the Boston Convention Center being a main draw to the hotel, there will be access to the BCEC via an existing underground tunnel.

100 Shawmut Tops Off 100 Shawmut in the South End has topped off. The new 13-story tower which incorporates the preserved facade of the brick and beam building on the site will offer 138 luxury condos. Amenities at 100 Shawmut will include a 13th-floor rooftop deck and amenity space and a 9th-floor rooftop terrace, both offering sweeping views of the Boston skyline. 


1240 Soldiers Field Road

The Davis Companies Plans to Replace the Boston Skating Club with 535 Apartments The Davis Companies has plans in the works for a 535-unit apartment building on the site of the Boston Skating Club at 1240 Soldiers Field Road in Brighton. The developer acquired the property in October 2018 for $26.25 million. The 22-story tower would also include parking for 220 cars. A second phase of the project would include the demolition of the neighboring Studio Allston Hotel to be replaced with a new mixed-use building to feature 255 hotel rooms plus 120 condos. A larger public open space between the two buildings would improve the connections between Western Ave. and the Telford overpass to the riverfront.

The Davis Companies Submits Plans for 142K SF Office/Lab Building In Cambridge A proposed 142,000 square foot office/lab building is now under review for 75/109 Smith Place in Cambridge just minutes from Alewife. The three-story building would also include parking for 151 cars, 115 in a below-grade garage and 36 in a surface lot. Short term parking for 10 bicycles will be located near the entry of the building with an additional 50 long bike spaces available. The project also would include enhanced landscaping and open space.

The 13-story tower will feature 138 luxury condos along with ground floor cafe space.  As part of the project, the development team is preserving the facade of the historic & beam office building that stands on the site.

Facade Install Continues for Omni Seaport Framing is ongoing and facade install continues for the 1,055 room Omni Boston Seaport. The hotel is set to open in early 2021 and will offer a 24-hour fitness center, 3 dining options, a full-service spa, plus an expansive pool deck with bar. New interior renderings have also popped up on the hotel's website, giving a glimpse of the finishes guests can expect from the high-end property.


900 Winter Street

Interior Finishing Underway for 900 Winter Street in Waltham Interior finishing is ongoing for the new 22,0000 square foot office/lab building at 900 Winter Street in Waltham. The building will be occupied by global biopharmaceutical company Alkermes, whose current facility is also located on the Reservoir Woods Campus at 852 Winter Street.  The new building will enable the company to expand both its research and development capabilities and accommodate its growing staff. Construction is expected to be complete sometime this year.

Work Underway on Cast-In-Place Podium at The Mark in East Boston   Work is now underway for the cast-in-place podium for the upcoming 107 unit luxury condo project, The Mark at DeNormandie Wharf. The 6-story building will also feature 6,500 square feet of shared workspace plus parking for 80 cars. Residents will have access to a private fitness center with several immersive entertainment lounges.

Construction Ongoing at 100 Shawmut Construction is ongoing for the upcoming condo building 100 Shawmut Ave. in the South End. Work continues on the historic brick facade that is being preserved as part of the project. When complete 100 Shawmut will offer 138 luxury residences plus a suite of resident amenities designed for entertaining including an entertaining kitchen, caterer's kitchen, and billiard room. The building will be topped by a sky lounge offering sweeping Boston views.

Framing Progressing for Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport Framing continues on the upcoming Omni Seaport Hotel with the first set of windows going in at the corner of Summer & D Streets for what will be one of two towers connected by the three-story podium. The 1,055 room hotel will also include 120,000 square feet of meeting space plus an underground tunnel connecting the hotel to the Convention Center across the street. Construction is expected to last through 2021.
