Student Housing Development Gains FAA Approval
The FAA has given approval for a new 23-story, 182-unit student housing development that is proposed in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Tampa near downtown. Located across the street from the University of Tampa, the building will rise to 260 feet and will include ground level retail space. A bank that is currently on the site would be demolished. The plans call for a 3,000 square feet drive-thru space for the bank on the ground level.
