Sundial Owners Reveal Renovation Designs

The Sundial owners, Ally Capital and Paradise Ventures, have unveiled plans to renovate the open-air center in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg. The partners acquired Sundial in February 2022 and have not signed new tenants since the acquisition. Among the multi-million-dollar improvements are an updated courtyard, which would include removing the two-story sundial sculpture and six life-size dolphins that have been the centerpiece of the courtyard for the last 10 years. The redeveloped courtyard would feature an outdoor bar and café-style seating. Located within walking distance of the waterfront, the open-air center features 85,537 square-feet of retail space. Current tenants include the AMC Sundial 12 Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Sea Salt, White House Black Market, Chico’s, Tommy Bahama, Jackie Z. Style Co., Diamonds Direct, Spice & Tea Exchange, and Man Cave.
