The Family Place Planning Renovations to Columbia Heights Property
After acquiring the property this past December for $3,450,000 The Family Place Public Charter School has now filed plans for renovations to 1501 Park Road NW. The 7,500-square-foot property was formerly home to Catholic Charities McKenna House but now the school plans to locate its adult public charter school in the building as well as potentially a daycare. The applicant plans interior alterations to the property to accommodate the new uses but does not plan to expand the existing building in any way.
