The Suffolk Completes on Manhattan's Lower East Side
General contractor, Monadnock Construction Inc, has fully wrapped up construction at 55 Suffolk Street; a new, 30-story mixed-use development, on Manhattan's Lower East Side.
Developed by , and known as "The Suffolk", the building contains luxury residential units (including 95 affordable housing units), along with a 39,000 square foot office headquarters for the Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC). It also features square feet of retail space, located on the ground floor.
The Suffolk's residences will be offered in micro, studio, and one to three-bedroom configurations, with high-quality interiors, envisioned by JG Neukomm Architecture.
Tenant amenities are to include a state-of-the-art fitness club with a yoga studio, resident and co-working lounges, a game room, a package room, an exclusive mobile app for tenants, and of course the crown jewel... a rooftop pool complete with a sundeck, BBQ stations, firepits, and private dining areas.
Designed by , The Suffolk stands feet tall and totals square feet. The $235 million project comes as the second of two buildings to be constructed as part of the CPC's Broom Street Development Plan; the other being 64 Norfolk Street.
