Two-Year Extension Granted for Woodmont Triangle Development
A 2-year extension of the approvals for the development at 8008 Wisconsin Ave. in Bethesda has been granted. Plans which were approved in 2016 call for 106 multifamily units with 5800 square feet of retail space. Per project documents, the COVID pandemic and current market volatility have caused delays. Now the developer plans to sell the project to a new development team and this additional time will allow the contractor purchaser the needed time for planting and permitting.
