UMass Medical School to Build 350,000 SF BioMed Building
UMass Medical School received approval from the City of Worcester to build a 350,000 SF bio-medical building to meet its annual class size to meet the growing workforce needs in health science.
The new building will be located between the Lazare Research Building and the Albert Sherman Center. It will include program space for about 77 principal investigators, space for animal medicine and an FDA-compliant manufacturing facility for clinical trial therapeutics.
