Updated Plans Presented for Multi-Phase Wheaton Gateway Project
A partnership between the Montgomery County Housing Opportunities Commission, PS Ventures, The Duffie Companies, and Willco has presented updated Sketch & Concept plans for the Wheaton Gateway development. The project is proposed on a 5+ acres site at the intersection of University Boulevard and Veirs Mill Road. Plans call for approximately 900k square feet of residential (rental) development and approximately 50k square feet of retail space. The project will also include several areas accessible to the public including a community-use urban park, urban plaza, covered flex space, pocket green, and play area.
