Williamsburg Residential Development Receives the OK
An application for a new development at 824 Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn has just received the stamp of approval from the NYC Mayor's office. Submitted by aptly named, 824 Metropolitan Avenue Owner LLC, it requested a zoning map amendment to facilitate the construction of an eight-story, mixed-use building. Developed by Kubersky Management, the building will have 36 housing units, with 11 permanently dedicated to affordable housing. Included will also be 7,000 square feet of commercial space. With the hardest part now behind them, the project's general contractors can finally apply for building permits and begin prepping the site for redevelopment.
