Work Commences on Main Building Renovation at Children's Hospital in Longwood
A permit valued at $2,759,565 has been issued to the main building at Boston Children's Hospital Longwood Campus. Work will include updating the glass curtainwall facade and new interior fit-out.
The hospital is undergoing a renewal project at the Hale Clinical Building. The medical center will add a rooftop garden to the main building, a pedestrian bridge to connect the existing parking garage to the main building, newly renovated rooms that reduce the beds to single rooms for privacy, and enhanced inpatient and ambulatory support services.
