Zoning Permits Approved for Jamaica Mixed-Use Project
A private application for 185-17 Hillside Avenue in Jamaica, Queens was just given final approval by the NYC Mayor's Office. The application requests zoning map and text amendments to facilitate an 8-story, mixed-use building. The 66,584 sqft development would contain 48 residential units and 4,423 sqft of retail space. Approximately 12-units would be dedicated to affordable housing. With these permits secured, the general contractor can now apply for building permits and hopefully get started on the project relatively soon.
