Zoning Progress for Williamsburg Commercial Project
A proposed commercial project at 1 Wythe Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn is working its way through the public review process. Applicant, is requesting a zoning special permit pursuant to Section 74-962 and 74-963 as well as a zoning text amendment pursuant to ZR 74-96. These are being sought in order to facilitate a new story commercial and industrial building. Designed by , it would stand feet tall and total square feet.
The application was already approved by the Community Board in September and more recently by the Borough President just a few weeks ago. Since then, it has also been reviewed by the City Planning Commission, however, a vote still needs to be cast. Once the vote is complete, the application will be passed along to the City Council for further evaluation.
