Framing is nearly complete for the 2 additional floors being added as part of the redevelopment of 1950 Washington Street in Roxbury. The project will renovate the existing structure and create 31 condo units, four of which will be income-restricted. The development will also include 4,500 square feet of ground floor commercial space and 800 square feet of office.

Building Permit issued for 1950 Washington Street in Roxbury

A building permit has been issued for the approved project at 1950 Washington Street in Roxbury.

1950 Washington Street will renovate the existing structure into a six-story structure containing 31 residential homeownership units, four of which will be income-restricted. The site is located on the corner of Washington and Thorndike Streets in Roxbury, directly across from Ramsay Park, and is served by the MBTA’s Silver Line. 

Roxbury Mixed-Use Project Approved

The BPDA has approved the project at 1950 Washington Street in Roxbury.

The development will renovate the existing structure into a six-story structure containing 31 residential homeownership units, four of which will be income-restricted.

The project will include 4,500 square feet of ground floor commercial space, 800 square feet of office space, 21 ground-level parking spaces and storage for 31 bicycles. The project will contribute $25,000 for improvements at Ramsay Park.
