Description
The test borings will be five inches in diameter and 80 feet deep, and advanced using rotary drilling methods with hollow-stem augers, and the subsurface soils will be sampled using split-barrel sampling procedures in accordance with ASTM D1586. Sampling will be conducted at 2.5 ft intervals to boring depths of 10 ft below surface grades and at 5 ft intervals thereafter, provided that suitable natural soil materials have been encountered. Borings will be abandoned the same day as drilling.
