About 135 Dudley Street
The approved project will feature a total of 282,382 square feet of mixed-use space between two buildings at 135 Dudley Street in the Dudley Square and Roxbury neighborhood. The development would include 160 housing units, 8,703 square feet of street-level commercial space, a restaurant flexible space-tenant amenities, an art space, and a parking garage for approximately 146 vehicles. Office space on the ground floor will be provided rent-free for 10 years for the Boston Chapter of the NAACP.
One of the buildings will be a four-story building containing affordable rental housing for families at 30% and 50% of AMI, and the other, a nine-story building containing 100 condominium units, providing homeownership opportunities to 50 households at 70% and 80% of AMI, with the remaining 50 units proposed as market-rate. There will be a landscaped plaza between the two buildings, and one to the east of the retail affordable building adjacent to the Dudley BPL Branch Library, opening on Dudley Street.
