A nine-story hotel addition to the existing hotel has been approved. The addition will be developed on the 5,478 SF parking lot immediately abutting the hotel. The project will add over 40,000 gross square feet, providing approximately 77 additional hotel rooms, ground floor flexible retail/restaurant space, proposed rooftop amenity space, and improved operational space along the Friend Street elevation. No additional parking will be provided on-site. The Project will also involve a reconfigured, improved first-floor lobby layout within the existing hotel. In total, the expanded hotel will contain approximately 189 guest rooms and will comprise approximately 91,000 square feet of gross floor area.
