About 24 Drydock Avenue
Seaport District, Boston, MA
The project site consists of approximately 32,324 square feet of land with a three-story structure containing approximately 30,000 square feet of space, currently occupied by Boston Ship Repair.
New development plans call for a 200,000+ square foot 8-story building. The ground floor will include 10,000 square feet for Boston Ship Repair plus the Cronin Marine Commissary and a lunch counter to service the dining needs of local workers. Floors 2-8 will offer space for lab, research, development, testing, and engineering. The fifth floor will be designed as primarily supporting office uses for marine research and development tenants, as well as to serve as a headquarters for The Cronin Group. The Cronin Group currently anticipates occupying 10,000 square feet of the available 23,568 square feet. The Cronin Group space will include an outdoor terrace facing the seaport.
