World-renowned coffee chain Caffe Nero is opening a new cafe in a 3,300 square foot Fort Point storefront at 368 Congress Street. Caffe Nero Fort Point will be Caffe Nero's fifth location in Boston, as well as in the United States. Caffe Nero Fort Point will be on the ground floor of the existing Residence Inn, located in the heart of the Fort Point neighborhood steps to the South Boston Waterfront and downtown Boston.
Caffe Nero is an Italian-inspired coffee chain that operates over 700 coffeehouses worldwide. The chain made its first entry into the United States market in 2014 with a coffeehouse in Boston's Downtown Crossing neighborhood located on the ground floor of Millennium Place. The chain has since opened three more coffeehouses in the Longwood Medical Area, Jamaica Plain and the South End. In addition to the forthcoming Fort Point location, another coffeehouse is in the works in the Boston suburb of Wellesley.
