Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, L.P. (HFF) announced today that it has closed the $8.85 million sale of Newmarket Center, a 55,000-square-foot, brick and beam office building located at 67 Kemble Street in Boston’s Roxbury submarket.
HFF's Ben Sayles and Adam Dunn arranged the sale of the property on behalf of the seller, DDJB Real Estate Holdings, LLC, and procured the buyer, The Winhall Companies, on an off-market basis. Urban Core Development redeveloped the property and served as its manager.
This transaction was financed by a $4.8 million acquisition loan provided by Country Bank for Savings.
The Class B Office building was completed in 2004 and features a total of 54,800 Sqft. The Newmarket Center Office building is managed by The Winhall Companies.
It is a creative office building set in a newly renovated and repositioned historic factory building.
Newmarket Center features authentic loft-style, brick-and-beam office space with new HVAC and elevator systems and a common lounge and kitchen.
A 74-space, 22,500-square-foot parking lot located across from Newmarket Center is used for tenant parking.
Newmarket Center is located a short drive to Downtown Boston and Interstates 90 and 93. The Newmarket MBTA commuter rail station is located a short walk away.
