Fire Alarm Permit Issued for G. Green Construction's New Headquarters
A permit for fire alarm install has been pulled for 240 Lincoln Street in Allston, the upcoming new headquarters for G. Green Construction. The new 3-story building will feature a mix of “open-concept” and privacy measures enabling both personal comfort and collaborative flow for employees.
G. Greene New Headquarters Financed for $9.785 Million
G. Greene has received $9.785 million in construction financing via Salem Five Bank for their new headquarters in Allston.
The new 3-story building will replace the former headquarters on the 1.95-acre lot at 240 Lincoln Street owned by G. Greene. The new building incorporates a mix of “open-concept” and privacy measures enabling both personal comfort and collaborative flow for employees. Offices with glass sliders are being built on the outer perimeter of the building so natural light will shine through-out the work areas. With steel framing already in place, concrete pouring is underway for the new building.
The 87,780 square foot parcel at 1591-1619 Hyde Park Avenue in Boston's Hyde Park neighborhood was sold today for $2,100,000. The parcel is located a short walk the Readville transit station and last sold for a total of $150,000 on June 1st, 1977.Today's buyer is G. Greene Properties LLC, a limited liability company registered to Robert (Bob) L. Greene. Bob is President of G. Greene Construction Co., a builder and construction manager based in Boston.
