Apartment Community Proposed in St. Petersburg
The Hanover Company has submitted plans for a new apartment community in St. Petersburg utilizing Florida's Live Local Act. The community will offer 304 apartment units that will be designated for those making at or below 120 percent of the area median income. The apartments will be contained in four four-story buildings on a 8.94-acre site that will offer 768 parking spaces, 448 for cars and 320 for bicycles. Community amenities will include a pool, clubhouse, fitness center, outdoor seating areas and dog run. Hanover is under contract to purchase the property. A retail center is currently on the site and will be demolished.
