Elevator core construction begins at Douglass Park Expansion in South End
The concrete elevator core of a new five-story, 44-unit apartment building that will expand the existing Douglass Park development in the South End has risen a full floor. A basement level for the building has been constructed, and concrete is being poured to construct the building's foundation. The building will be located adjacent to the 155-residence Douglass Park development, which also contains 7,000 square feet of retail and a 146-space underground parking garage, expanding housing units at the development to 199.
