1943 Dot Ave Looks to Welcome First Residents by November 15th
Both exterior and interior work is ongoing at 1943 Dorchester Avenue, across from Ashmont Station, with pre-leasing now underway. According to the leasing team, the building with open in stages with first residents moving into the 2nd floor around November 15th with higher floors coming online each month thereafter. In total the project will feature 64 residential units along with 2,100 sf of ground floor retail.

Reading Development Property MortgagedNewMeadow Development has mortgaged their property at 35 Lincoln Street in Reading for $14.806 million via Bank of New England. The upcoming project know as The Metropolitan at Reading Station is an approved 68 unit boutique luxury apartment building located directly across the street from the Reading Depot Commuter Rail Station in Reading, Massachusetts. The Metropolitan contains a mix of 1,2 and 3-bedroom units. Residents will be able to access to the commuter rail and be in North Station in 20 minutes. Building amenities include a coffee bar, fitness studio and top floor entertainment great room.

Superstructure construction of Ashmont's 1943 Dorchester Avenue mixed-use development underway
With foundation construction complete, the five-story superstructure of 1943 Dorchester Avenue, an upcoming mixed-use development located across from the Ashmont rapid transit station in Dorchester, is underway. The building's concrete base podium, which will contain its' first floor, has been nearly fully poured. In the coming weeks, the upper four floors will be framed with wood. The $14 million 1943 Dorchester Avenue will feature 64 apartment residences and over 2,100 square feet of ground-floor retail. Rents and amenities revealed at Flats on Savin apartments in Dorchester
The new Flats on Savin apartments in Dorchester, located across from the Savin Hill rapid transit station, are now leasing for September 2017 occupancy. Rents start at $1,850/month for a studio; studios range from 409-to-585 square feet. One-bedroom residences, which are 880 square feet in size, vary in price from $2,500-to-$2,700/month. Two-bedroom residences, which range from 900-to-1,050 square feet, vary in price from $2,600-to-$3,600 per month.
A total of 14 residences are located at Flats on Savin, including four studios, two 1-bedrooms and eight 2-bedrooms. Each residence will feature a modern kitchen with caesarstone counters and a full range of top-of-the-line appliances, as well as private balconies and oversized windows. Residences will also feature state-of-the-art flooring and lighting fixtures, and will be secured with modern technology, including an intercom system and video surveillance.
